Enlace, at Bodega Monte Quieto
Founded over 20 years ago in Agrelo, a few months ago Bodega Monte Quieto opened Enlace, a restaurant that represents the continuation of a dream begun by the owners Agustín and Matilde in a house that dates back to the 19th century. The first vines were planted here in 2001 and 2002.
The project in the 1880 mansion features large halls, high ceilings, leafy gardens and a stunning view of the Andes and was created by the restauranteur Yanina Silva Chavez and the chef Edith Romero.
The identity of Enlace is based around the concept of “cookery of the earth”: seasonal cuisine with fresh products from the vegetable garden. The menu features three and six course options with dishes designed to pair with the winery’s wines.
The restaurant is open seven days a week from 10AM to 5PM and reservations can be made at this link.

Savia Cocina has opened its doors on the iconic Brandsen street in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, in the middle of Finca Jamilla, as the Bodega Casarena restaurant. It is designed in the contemporary Mendoza wine tourism spirit to provide an experience with a sense of place and deep connection to nature based around sustainability, native plants and the soul of the terroir. The cuisine of Chef Ailín Rosas and kitchen head Julieta Argento focuses on local products and painstaking technique, offering a delight for the senses. The four course menu is paired with Casarena wines, paying homage to the region and seasonal products. The dishes are inspired by the Jamilla, Naoki, Owen and Lauren vineyards.

La Cabrera in the Hualta Winery Hotel
One of the most successful parrilla restaurants in Buenos Aires, created by Gastón Riveira, came to Mendoza last April. The distinctive concept is now available in several different locations across the country and overseas, in this case the Hualta Winery Hotel.
The idea is for “people to feel at home in an elegant, relaxed environment,” with a la carte service in which diners can choose between different beef, pork and chicken dishes as well as a variety of appetisers and desserts. Most of the beef comes from Buenos Aires and is Angus certified, although more local suppliers are being incorporated.
The space has a capacity for 90 diners across two salons and the abundant portions encourage sharing. The wine list has over 70 labels and was conceived with a special focus on terroir. Although the stars are Huentala wines, which are also served by the glass, there is also a varied selection from wineries across the country.
La Cabrera Mendoza is open every day for lunch and dinner. Reservations can be made at https://lacabreramendoza.ar/.
