About Hugo Sabogal
Nacido en Colombia, es el PR de Wines of Argentina para Latinoamérica. Ha trabajado como periodista y columnista de vinos en reconocidas publicaciones locales e internacionales. Igualmente, ha formado parte de paneles de degustación en Suramérica, Estados Unidos y Europa. Fue autor de la Guía de Vinos Colombia 2006, 2007 y 2008. Cursó estudios clásicos y de literatura española y latinoamericana en la Universidad de Londres, y ha realizado especializaciones en el campo editorial y en el sector vitivinícola. Ha aprobado los niveles 1 y 2, lo mismo que el examen de degustación a ciegas del nivel 3 del Wine & Spirit Education Trust, de Londres. Born in Colombia, Hugo is the PR of Wines of Argentina for Latin America. He has worked as a journalist and wine columnist in recognised local and international publications. He also has served on tasting panels in South America, USA and Europe. He was the author of the Colombia Wine Guide 2006, 2007 and 2008. He studied classical studies and Spanish & Latin American literature at the University of London, and has specialisations in the field of publishing and in the wine sector. He has passed levels 1 and 2, as well as the blind taste test of level 3 of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, London.
