Masters of Food & Wine is an event where different enograstronomic experiences are brought together in the hands of renowned chefs and expert sommeliers from all over the world. No two Masters of Food & Wine events are alike! A dinner for 20 people or an Open House event for 800 people may have the same name but each of them has a unique personality that makes them different.
Park Hyatt started this tradition over two decades ago and at present it takes place in the most important cities of the world. In Mendoza, Masters of Food & Wine is one of the most significant experiences that the brand offers. Based on the key pillars of food and wine, the event seeks to generate different innovative experiences within the framework of a special theme.
One of these themes was Rock, which gave birth to Masters of Food & Wine – Rock Edition. Argentine tradition and culture were also featured in Masters of Food & Wine – Tango in Salón de los Espejos. Traditions from other countries, like the emblematic Oktoberfest, and various themes such as Funk & Soul, Cook & Jazz, Cocktails & Music have also been chosen to give each occasion a different impact and attraction.
Such a great event can make visitors live multiple experiences simultaneously. In any Masters of Food & Wine edition they can enjoy excellent gastronomy made not only by our own Chefs but also by renowned national and international guests. The same goes for the different wineries with their exclusive labels that accompany this initiative – the pleasure of tasting various distinctive wines while talking to their experts is something unique.
The Masters of Food & Wine events at Park Hyatt have an ever-innovating and art-related concept: live music, dancers, renowned singers, bartenders and sketchers take part in each edition, generating singular experiences. To live a MF&W, we invite you to imagine what it would be like to eat in an excellent restaurant while touring the best wineries of Mendoza by the hand of their winemakers, attending a private top-level concert or tasting cocktails in one of the best bars in the region. Meanwhile, famous sketchers are capturing the most exciting moments of the evening in their art.
This multiplicity of events contributes to create an overall enogastronomic experience, providing luxury tourists another incredible option among those offered by the province of Mendoza.
Awards and recognitions
In 2017, the importance and magnitude attained by the Week of Rock, an event organized together with Bodega Monteviejo, allowed it to win the Gold award as an Innovative Experience in the “Best of Mendoza´s Wine Tourism 2018” and also received the “Best of Global Award 2018” in its category. The event was declared of “National Tourist Interest” by the National as well as the Provincial Ministry of Tourism.
Masters of Food & Wine – Rock Edition is one of the pillars of the Week of Rock. The next edition will be held on April 4, 2019.
